I would like the ships to blink so much they cause seizures.

But I do agree, a few more twinkles here and there would be nice!

The giant laser beams that flash won't cause seizures?

I agree that blinkies would be cool, but remember--this is an early beta. It's not supposed to be a representation of what the final game will look like.

That is true, but in the world of game development, assuming something will be added, often has unpredictable results.

Yes, blinking navigation lights on the ships/platforms would add to the atmosphere of the game

The colony capitalship and the broadcast center have them. We'll get around to adding them to all the ships and buildings as appropriate at a much later date
