How do I upload scores?!?

I'll also mention I've registered four or five times, downloaded all the patches from Brad's thread, and created my own empire.

When you get the summary screen and hit Done there should be a screen come up asking whether or not you want to submit your score to the Metaverse. It'll ask you to enter your alias and e-mail address and then send the information to the Metaverse. At least that is how it is supposed to work. I've tried sending the score of the game I finished last night several times but it doesn't work. My firewall shows the information being sent out via HTTP to the server but it wasn't showing up on the Metaverse score lists.

After I hit done I don't get that screen. Mine goes directly back to the menu. So far the only games I've completed have been beginner. Can I not upload these?

I've sent three scores in, still never got them to show up. Registered my character name several times, still no go. Bah! (:(

But you're getting the option to send them in after completing a game, right? Before it sends you back to the main menu?

You need to be connected to the internet for the submit screen to show up I believe.
( I have an always on connection so this is difficult for me to test)/
Try connecting to the internet, (alt tab out) before hitting done on the summary screens.

Well what is going on here? We get the submit screen, hit submit and then get no real feedback, the game just goes back to the Main menu. Checking here, my score isnt listed anywhere.

Connecting first does get me the submit screen but my scores don't upload. Well, at least my problem is the same as everyone else's now.

An old thread to bump but Im having the same problem...Bought the game 3 days ago clicked submit on 2 games so far using the same username and email that ive used to both register game and the register on the multiverse, but it just seems to hang, itll let me cancel but doesnt upload anything Oh and ive got always on internet as well....Could win 98 be the common fault???? who knows....

Zanny, the game takes a while to submit a game. For me, it takes about 10-15secs on cable. I've heard of much longer times on slower internet connections.

So, click the submit button and let it run. It should give you the submission status screen when the submission is completed.

I have cable too, but it can take 2-3 minuttes for my games to thru

Along these same lines, how long does it take for uploaded scores to show up on the list? Does the list update once daily, like the map?

Score should show in your profile almost immediately - you are using your "player name" to submit with rather than your nick....????
