You have dared to enter the lair of the most ferocious predators in the galaxy!

It is the ulitmate destiny of the Kzinti to conquer the other civilizations of the galaxy, subjugate and enslave any who may prove useful to us, and devour the rest. The Fanged God has ordained that this is how it will be.

In just 26 octals of days (7 months or so...Kzinti count in base 8), the Kzinti Empire rose from obscurity, to #1 on the Metaverse. With the blessings of the Fanged God, we have remained dominant for 100s more octals of days since that auspicious day.  We leapt past the other empires, and our mighty domain now encompasses over 32 million more light years than the second most powerful empire.  The most recent Galactic Map data shows that we have subjugated over 45% of the galaxy.  Many warriors from the old and dying empires have joined us, to avoid being eaten along with the rest.  We hunger to establish indefinite supremacy over all the inferior sentient species...

We have also been #1 on the AltMeta for over 3 years running. The Empire grows more powerful with each passing day as new conquests are won, and more warriors join us in our inevitable rise to rule the galaxy!

The Kzinti are a species of bipedal space-faring feline predators, who love nothing more than conquest and battle. Created by sci-fi writer Larry Niven, the Kzinti have had many stories written about them, most notably in the Man-Kzin Wars series of books. They have also shown up in the Star Trek universe, and a number of other realities.

A net of over 1 million bc/turn!  :CONGRAT:  This is on a huge all-abundant map, with a total of 499 habitable planets. My economy was topping out at about 500,000 net bc/turn, but then I got an economic boom. I initially thought this game would come in at about 550k, but with the boom I'm not quite sure now. Over 600k would be nice.  :HOT:

Well done, KP! :CONGRAT: I've never gotten my economy to that level. I think about 800,000 bc/turn was my max on a gigantic all abundant. Yours being on a huge map must have taken some persistence.

Nice KP...600K you say..Bah!! I'm looking at over 850K for mine....with no ships at all and in Jan 2229 i score tested it at 278K... :D

In my current game i am in Jan year 2229 and have over 250K per turn, no econ event...give me another year of buying out the SM's and i should be looking pretty good.

I'm using the strategy I call the Great Galactic Swindle, which was developed by Mumblefratz. I've tinkered with it a bit too. You max out your diplomacy as early as possible and buy/trade/extort all the AIs planets from them.

I'm not aware of any specific post on it, but there are hints throughout the forums. Rumor has it that Mumblefratz authored a thread at the Core about it that covers most of the info needed.

You can also visit the TOE site and pick up on hints here and there. There's a useful area called "Tip of the Day" that has some good strategy tips. Even if you can't post there, you still should be able to read anything in the public areas. If you have problems doing that, let me know and I'll see what I can do to make sure you have read access.

If anybody has any questions feel free to ask. :) I do it a bit differently than is detailed in that post, but I couldnt easily say if it's more or less effective, because I'm currently playing huge maps rather than gigantic.

What's the average habitable planet count for DA giga-all-abundant? I'm interested to extrapolate and and try to estimate what sort of score I could get on a gigantic map.

I think you remember incorrectly. ;) On huge all-abundant, I get at least 480 per game. My last game I had 505 and in my current game I have 499.

Mumble did start the thread at the core but IIRC never finished it...there are of course over 10 pages about it on ToE.com but in the throne room.

Motti. If you have a look at Seth's permission on ToE...you'll see there will be no reading of anything over there.

In my Gig All A i have 715..and that includes every class 1 planet as well.

Um, if this is your first time using a TS, then you in for a HUGE surprise with their use on extremely huge maps like that. They move at a max speed of 1, one, uno. No starbase modules or techs or fleeting with a warp thingy will help.

I've used Terror Star before.
EDIT: I just finished the game I got an incredibly low score.

Yes Nelio, I remember you mentioning banning me from the ToE forums, but I really don't care.
Yes I know I am the most controversial members on the site. But, I still have friends, including Joshua (J_penguin) who just wants to make news friends here and I hope he won't get mad at me for saying is name, he gonna have to review my replies instead of preapoving them due his new job at McDonalds (LOL he's 17!) not to mention his second job at 7 Eleven.

But let's all get back to the topic here. The Swindle victory, I tried numorous attempts but I failed so I'm just gonna give up on it. BTW has anyone here ever try to acomplish a YZW against two opponents?

I just finished year 5 of my current Swindle. This is on a huge all-abundant map. Scores at the end of each year were:

Y2 - 238,530
Y3 - 358,050
Y4 - 454,300
Y5 - 520,100

estimated:
Y6 - 563,528
Y7 - 590,888
Y8 - 607,303

So if my calculations are accurate, and I wanted to go to 8 years, I would likely pass 600k! :D My computer is getting slow now with just over 3000 huge weapons-maxed ships, so I dont know if I can stomach going all the way to year 8. It might be more reasonable to move on to the next game after finishing year 7.

It is possible, but definitely more difficult. Both Neilo and I have done it vs 5 opponents. I think it was 5 at least... It was during one of the MVL rounds. I was going for a different victory type though (influence), so I didnt submit it.
