Stargate Invasion is a total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment and Diplomacy . As of this time, there is no FINAL release date yet for this mod.

  

 

The mod will be built in 2 halves.  The first is the Pegasus side, I.E. Humans, Wraith and Asurans, with the Pirates being a classified race at the moment.  The second part of the mod, will add in the Asgard and Goa'uld races to the mix, we will even be creating a separate version of the mod as well, which will just be Humans, Asgard and Goa'uld, with the Lucien Alliance as the Pirates for that half.

I have been following this mod since it started and would like to say that this mod is amazing, this is among my favourites and that you are doing a truly oustanding work! :grin:   I can't wait to play it when you think it is ready for release however long that is, i am a patient person and would rather wait and have quality over anything else.

Also can't wait to see what wonderfull things you come up for the wraith!

Are you still planning on releasing this one ship?  I second Franz here, I'd love to even have just that one ship to use while we wait on the whole mod.

I will need to set up the model again, with the correct Hardpoints, and make 2 versions of it, one for Vanilla and the other for Entrenchment... but I might still do this, depends on how much free time I have.

Prometheus will be one of the first couple of ships that you can build, yes.  The whole plan for the Humans shiplist and how the research will go has been set up, and everything is in place just waiting for the rest of the models and textures.

The shots do look amazing. You started this mod over a year ago and are still working on it. You still have a long way to go too. I think that what you are doing is amazing and im not trying to affend you in anyway, but arnt you just sick of this game yet. You work on it so much. I loved this game, but after playing it for a month or two i got sick of it and gave it a break. I think that this is a great thing your doing, but what do you think about it Eomega arnt you sick of the game yet. I wasnt tying to affend you at all.

tbh, at times I do get tired of the constant play testing, but it is necessary.  When I get to stressed by the mod, I take a break, read a book or go play another game till i get some ideas flowing again.

sort of.  Yes, while I take a break from the mod, its not more then a day or two, but the main reason why the mod is taking so long is that I have been having some real life things going on, that obviously take presidence.  Another thing that slowed us down is we are currently down to two members, our other members are busy with school and might not be back this summer to help out again.

 

I am also a perfectionist, and dont want to release the mod half assed.

well said but just like all game out there, there is a public beta to help the developers find and test breaking it. in order to fully make the item great.

Wish i had time and mod xp. With how good this mod looks so far i would wait a long time and i am very impatient.

I did not see in the video where it shows daedulas class type though. Should be Cap. Great job so far

true, but we are trying to push the game as far as we can so play testing is fully required.

Daedalus is a Cruiser, not a Capital Ship.  There are several larger vessels for the Humans that are the capital ships.

All starbases are going to move, not sure if any are going to build ships just yet, but we will keep you posted as we progress.
