SDC Help!!!

Ok, I got SDC on the 26th to dowload the game, no prob, everything went fine. Since then I've been getting all the updates, and am enjoying SDC... untill today, three weeks later, (i just logged on to check for any updates, they are coming out as fast as heck)and I got this:

Message from SDC "Your Stardock.net account (my email) has failed to logon to SDC servers. Since you aren't logged on to the server you will be unable to instasll or view any updates that are availible. =(

Some1 PLEAZE help, I need SDC to get my updates!!!

Easy Las... easy. Just try a couple hours later. They get bogged down sometimes. It happened to me earlier today. Then when I was able to log on I saw that Stardock was updating it's self. So there was all that extra traffic as it was updating everyone already logging in. Just try a little later on, I will bet you a dollar to a hole in a dounut it'll work soon.

Besides, no update today. :( Last update was released yesterday, and it was pretty minor. Relax. :)

ok, I tried today, still no go. So, I tried to reregister galciv, it said my email was invailid. But when i checked to see if they had my email in databank (via request for serial #) it was there. I'm confused (:( .

New firewalls, anything like that?

If you have access to IRC, there's a GalCiv IRC room that has people smarter than me in it, and that could probably help you out faster than the turn-based nature of message board correspondance. ;)

Same thing happened to me, I just hit the retry button in that diolog and it was all good.

I've experience that too...just a glitch...everything still worked...I could post and I could download the updates. Don't fret it.

Las,

I believe you are confusing your Stardock.net Account with your GalCiv registration.

Your Stardock.net account is the same account that you use to logon to the website GalCiv.com.
I sent you an email with your login information (for Stardock Central). The Serialnumber that you have registered to this account uses a completely different email address. As far as your GalCiv Registration, please check your records again.

Ok! I'm back to being logged in. But my registration for galciv on the site says its the wrong email or serial #. I have different ones for the product and for my stardock.net account. I've copied and pasted directly from the confermation email and it still says my galciv registration is wrong. It was all great untill yesterday >:( .

Wow, after 3 days of not being able to register galciv at SDC, it randomly worked. I just logged on and it worked. Thanx for all the help! :D
