Intel Reports

Has anyone actually gotten info on the espionage Report screen? All I get is "no current events at this time" Never seen anything else.

Some ideas for this screen:

Trade report: Gives a breakdown (or %'s ) of another races trading partners.

Tech/Arms trade report: If a race is activily giving/selling techs to other races (your enemies)

That would be useful. Of course, it would tip off the Arceans to my helping their enemies. :-)

Yeah this would be cool. As it stands, sinking money into the espionage slider doesnt have a whole lot of practical upside. Being able to see all their stats is nice, but doesnt give vital intel, or really anything that you cant infer from other sources.

I'll add my 2 cents to the thread. When it reaches the 'We know everything there is to know, even more than blah empire themselves!' or something, I'd like to see every planet and where all their ships are.

I dumped a few thousand bcs into espionage and all I got this was lousy report screen. ;p

This screen could be used to summarize the events that have gone before between yourself and that particular AI.

I envision something like this:

Jan 2181: Arceans demanded 6 bc/month tribute. Answer: Refusal
May 2181: Trade deal
August 2183: Arceans declared war
February: Arceans lost control of Wardell system to you

etc. etc.

"Jan 2181: Arceans demanded 6 bc/month tribute. Answer: Refusal"

Your other suggestions were good, but this one was just WAY too bland. That line should read something like "Answer: Go. To. Hell."

You're right, Asharak. But then again...do you really think that's going to happen :)

"do you really think that's going to happen"

The refusal, or the implementation of this feature?
