Found GalCiv CRACK on the Net lol

I made a search on eDonkey to see what was out about GalCiv and found a crack LOL
GalCiv doesn't even have such protections from what i recall ;p

A couple of weeks back, Brad was talking about the prison cutscene which is run if the serial is invalid, after which the game crash. Maybe the crack attempts to block the serial check? *shrug*

The game crash is forced by deleting the galaxy object as I recall. Oh, there are so many obvious puns right there...

Hmm.... Just out of curiousity I'd like to see that prison cut scene, but I bought the game so I guess that means I'm SOL unless someone know where I can find it in the game directory? I just love the idea the developers put in a special cut scene for software pirates and I want to see it. :D

Theres been a keygen out for GalCiv for awhile now, the crack was probably for one of the updates.

Except that a keygen for GalCiv is irrelevant. There's no key for it to generate with respect to th game, and the SDC doesn't check the keys locally.
