Request for TotalGaming Network to add Disciples 1: Sacred Lands Gold to their game list

Hi all,

I guess the subject header says it all. I would really like to be able to get hold of Disciples : Sacred Lands Gold. I was wondering seeing how we already have Disciples 2 Ultimate edition on TGN if it would be possible to add Discples 1 Gold.

I have to say I am really impressed with TGN. As a gamer my subscription was the best money I've ever spent. I look forward to using this service for a long time to come.

Warmest Regards,

Raven

We'll have to talk with the boys over at Strategy First for permission to headline it on TG.Net, but hopefully they'll be open to the idea

I have to say, I'm certainly enjoying Disciples II. I'd be interested to check out Disciples I as well.

Cool heres hoping that Strat First will be open to the idea. I've just finished downloading Disciples 2. However I'm so addicted to Gal Civ that I wont be playing D2 for a while. If I'm lucky by the time I'm ready to play the Disciples series D1 will be availible for download and I'll be able to play them in order.

IMHO, once you've beaten DI and played DII, you never want to go back. The only good reason for going back is if you just want to know more about the story. The first game only has 4 missions per saga, and the graphics are really smudgy because of the 640x480 resolution. Also there are no trigger events of any kind, which means neutral units just stand there for the entire game waiting to be killed, and generals can't be exported for use in quests. That being said, there are a couple things that are better, like the narrator. He sounds more medieval in DI, and the spells are generally more powerful. Level 4 spells do 100 damage instead of 75, and level 5 spells do 150 damage. Generals have a max level of 8, and units max out at level 4. That's all right for people who like challenges I suppose, as that level cap makes it much more difficult to take out capitals.

Aye me too twould be nice if Ubisoft released HOMMV on TGN as well.

Speaking of Disciples, I still haven't played D2 yet, Gal Civ has occupied all of my playing time. Ah so many games, so little time..

I signed up for the TotalGaming.Net subscription and had a couple of question.First, I don't see the orginal Disciples 2 game.Is the Disciples ultimate edition just the three expansions or is the Disciples 2 Dark Prophecy incorporated into the expansions automatically? Also, when will we here what the september new game to be added to the service will be?Thanks.

The Servants of the Dark and Guardians of Light combined together form Gallean's Return, which is simply both expansions put together on top of the original game. You can choose which campaign you want to do in the game, Dark Prophecy or the expansion campaign.
