EB Canada says April 7. WHAT!?

Last week, their computer said the 27th, this Thursday. As of tonight, the date was pushed out two weeks! I find this very hard to believe, given that their main web site in the U.S. shows it shipping, and the fact that Strategy First is based in Montréal. If anything, Canadian stores should get it sooner, rather than later, since the usual Customs B.S. is bypassed.

Did I read somewhere that Future Shop will also carry it here? If EB screws up here, I'm not planning to wait until they get their act together...

E-Tigger: I don't think Strategy First distribute the games from here, they do from the States. The headquarters might be here in Montreal and developement too if I'm not mistaken but the shipping and stuff is handled in the states. Correct me anybody if I'm wrong.

I live in the Tremblant area so before I make the drive down to Montréal I want to be sure the game is available. I'm counting on you guys in Montréal to let me know when it arrives at EB Côte-Vertu or better still Future Shop St-Jérome. Much appreciated.

Hey Kornalius, I was being more ironic than accusatory. It is quite probably that is the way they do it. Although they might keep a local distribution centre for canadian shipments.

Nope none in Canada that I know of. I went the EB games route myself.

Given the comments even about limited retail supply in the US, ordering online or direct w/SD is likely better. If the volume per retailer is as low as in the US there may not be many copies out when it does arrive.

One thing that does bite apparently FedEx doesnt track foreign bound packages

Frankly, that sucks - I don't see why I should have to spend the extra money for shipping just to get a game that has supposedly been released to the whole North American market.

(:( And now, I'm seeing posts saying that many stores in the U.S. are running out of copies - anyone want to guess that availability in Canada will be further delayed while the distributor restocks U.S. retail outlets first?

EB in Vancouver, BC (metrotown mall) has a couple dozen copies retailing for $64.99. Needless to say, I got my copy.

Ok i am getting PO'd I ordered my copy from EB games last week after hearing EBCanada is not going to get them until 6th-7th. Now all the EB stores have it and my fedexed copy is nowhere to be found. EB really poked the pooch on this one. In the past 6 mo EB has been getting bad; really bad.

Has anyone in Can ordered from EBgames have any idea of how long these clowns take; I cant even track teh silly thing because of some 10 billion excuses from fedex AND EB (which change depending on who I talk to).

If i hand better than a crappy dial-up I would have Dl'd
