Still can't submit to Metaverse ???Frogboy help

Is the score just not showing up on the Metaverse? Or do you get a crash before you get the chance to submit your score?

Heeeelp! i can`t post my latest game too
Score is submitted OK, but do not appear in metaverse, no crash... everything looks ok.
I tried it under 1.02 and also under 1.03 version.


3 my previous games was submited OK.

Same here. Also my best game. 2 previus games was submitted fine.

Same for me.
4 first OK, last 2 just don't appear.

Same here. I was able to submit my first two games, but I updated to 1.2049 (and later) I can't submit this last game. I would hate to toss it I had my best score yet.

And HALLELUIAH! Frogboy has noticed this problem!!

No big issue, but all technical errors should be fixed. Also if you where a score-a-holic you would probably hate it if your 30000score game cant be submitted. I can see that as a big issue yes.

Well, I just submited my email. I'll let everyone know what the response is.

Does anyone else keep getting 0 score when they submit (with a anamolous difficulty?) Last time this happened to me I was able to re-submit and it went, but I've resubmitted this one 5 times already and still 0.

Not sure if I answered this in the bug report thread or not, so I'll reply again here.

First of all, if any of you are getting crashes before you get the option to submit, we've fixed that bug.

Second, if you're getting anomalous for the difficulty level, you may have something wrong with your save game. It may be caused by a mod. You can send it to me at [email protected] and I'll see if I can tell what it's tripping on.

I should just say that my problem is now fixed after realizing that the "Register Your Player" link isn't just for the head of an Empire setting up players (this is how I first saw the message). In fact, that link is to register YOURSELF with Metaverse!

Again, why one has to register separately with Metaverse was even more counter-intutive. Anyway, this is just an FYI that others might have this same problem.

Have registerde. Still no metaverse. Many like me have earlier submitted games fine but now something is bugged.

I registered long ago and have re-registered since then. Still, first two game scores uploaded, the last one won't. I'm going back to SEIV until some of this stuff is ironed out.

Did you register INSIDE the Metaverse page by clicking on the 'Register your Player' link? This is completely separate from registering with the forum.

I had a very similar problem earlier: had registered with Metaverse and had submitted two games. Then when I tried to submit my latest game: no can do. So after attempting to re-submit several times to no avail, I just re-registered with the Metaverse. Then I re-submitted my latest game and it was accepted.

I've just done what has been suggested and reregistered my player in the metaverse.
And now... my new game is OK but the 4 previous one are gone !!!!

Did you use different player names when you submitted the first two and the most recent one?

Viandox, did you change serial #s (i.e. upgraded your GalCiv to Drengin.net)?

That's what happened to me when I did that. Couldn't submit new scores, figured there was a conflict, re-registered, and lost 6 games. I kept my rank and score medals, but lost credit for submitting the games.

I emailed P. Ford like Brad suggested and never heard anything back...
