Cringe in fear do gooders. The G.R.O.S.S. (Get Rid Of Slimy alienS) empire is now formed. In less than an hour we have jumped 95 other Pacifist Doo Gooder victim empires and lept into 40th out of 135 ranked.

We are an evil empire bent on controlling everything and showing all the other empires out there who's boss. US. Are you listening Euro-"Oh lets let everyone be a senator and give em a vote doo gooder democracy alliance?" We come for you.

For a limited time, (untill I decide otherwise) 5 Pure Evil games, (or just impressing me with your game evilness) submitted will get you a Senatorship. Later, being the evil empire pyramid scheme we are, it will take 10. Of course, being the evil empire we are, that gives you no benefits, no pay, but all the alien carnage you crave most.

Now we do realize that sometimes, you just have to fake being good. You sometimes just have to infiltrate that pacifist party. We understand. But we aren't a kinder gentler empire and don't let their pacifism go to your head. And just sometimes, you gotta let the Aliens live (where else would you find slaves for the heavy metal lava mines?)

In the future, we shall update each other in the empire via this thread, brag of our conquests, drink blood wine, and generally just poke fun (creatively and humorously) at those players whom we find to be too goody goodyish.

It's all for a bit of fun. It would also give those smaller empires that would never be able to compete for first something to shout about but still retain their distinct identities.The empiring nowadays are mostly about the Top10. I'm sure the other empires would love to get into the action, which they can't really do unless they merge.It's more of a suggestion at this point in time, there's no game if there are no participants.

And Ray, a loose confederation is pretty close to what we have now. Giving actual status will encourage more activity along those lines. The the theme empires participate in one another's threads all the time.

I vote for ending the war with the Republic. They should give us the Mos Eisely Cantina as our new embassy.... and as tribute they need to keep in stocked. (I'm thinking that should cost about 150 BC for 100 months.)

Would a confederation of themes be an empire or a forum construct? I'd hate to lose our identity as GROSS, though I could see the benefits of a Fellowship / Empire merger as a manner of strengthening the themed empires (and giving us a run for the money). I think someone in the first Star Wars movies refers to Jedi as old wizards or something anyway...

The only empire I could see us merging with is ANZAC. Despite the fact that they are a 'regional' empire, they either fit our theme or we fit their region. ;)

I won't vote either way on a Confedration of themed empires, as I'd need to here more.

Actually, boss, I just thought they were pro-union. :)

Besides, I think it is time you give those guys a break. If some over at the MWC have dug a hole and are standing in it, isn't that enough? Not that I am getting too soft or anything (despite that little blue face below my posts :D ), just that we got bigger problems to worry about, like these uppity Republicans. (The empire, not the party. But don't get me started on that!) And a boatload of undead that are still slowly shuffling along, and starting to get too close again.

Now, about the Republic. The map says that they are a buzillion miles away. And they are no real threat. So I vote that we leave them on their galactic island and keep the good booze we already pillaged. Let them grow bigger and stronger, then we can loot more later. Keeping them in perpetual warfare and poverty does us little good. It is better to get a whole warehouse of booze later than to be getting it bottle by bottle.

Uhhh... Sir, while you're rolling on the floor for a bit, I think I should clarify something. I'm the one who introduced a concern for the younger members of the Metaverse. It was a response to the V guys profanity. This may be an inappropriate location for children, but they're definitely here reading us. I’ll wave my rapier overhead and go on and on about the greatness of Evil, but as with all the other members of the Metaverse, profanity is where we draw the line. I still don’t understand why the moderators haven’t deleted the offensive material. :(

One other thing, to plephart, I don't think you sound like Karl Marx for having "Come realize your 'Manifest Destiny' in The People's Empire" for your signature. I think you sound like a cross between Mao Zedong and Heinrich Himmler. LOL
