The latest Community Project. One Hundred : A Tribute to Boxxi

Hello again

I would like to re-announce to the Community the latest on the tribute suite to BoXXi. We have now voted and with input from BoXXi and from the community it is decided that instead of building a suite from an existing BoXXi work ( fruitloops ) , we will now complete what would have been BoXXi's 100th submussion to WC.

The skin the commiunity has chosen will be One Hundered.

I have uploaded the source to https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=955&libid=18

I now ask the following for volunteers for the following:

Windowblinds

Iconpackager/Dock icons

Dock Backgrounds

DesktopX gadgets (Weather/clock/calendar)

Media player skins (Xion/Winamp/WMP)

Application skins ( Rainlendar/Sysmetric )

I would like to take this opportunity to invite any and all skinners , coders , testers and anyone that can help out to contribute to help out . If you have code or graphics you would like to build your skin around , or to allow this project to use , it would be appreciated.

If someone on the IRC channel has a 24x7 connection , it would be appreciated if a channel #onehundred could be created so we can come in and chat about our ideas.

I would also like to ask that this thread be stickied / an article created for it.

I'll edit this post as we get more into the project.

It needs no reminding , but this is Our tribute to BoXXi.

Hardest thing with Vista Logon is getting screen shot. could just use walls to make Logons.

or if someone makes Logons for XP and sends over background file I can make Vista Logon from it..so they match up.

I'll do the XP then send you the files, I'll need to get a copy of that wallpaper if thats (The One) we're going to use, and I'll still need to wait on Kitty's blind so I can match the buttons for the Logon. Once all that is in place it will only take a couple of hours to get it together, test it and send it to you. All I will need after that is your email. I'll send you a pm with mine.

thankgod....the issue i was having with the start menu has been fixed.....this skin should be finished in about 4 or 5 days time,

thanks for everyones patience in waiting for me, as soon as its finished i WILL distribute to all who need it, then i guess we can upload it.......

Quite right, I think most of us need to see your WB to know where we are going with adding the rest of the apps. but if you say its not ready and your not happy yet with the way it is, then nobody else will be either. So take your time, we know it will be good and most likely you will be waiting for us to catch up.

It's a tribute,and like Mt.Rushmore, the Taj Mahal or the Statue of Liberty,the really great ones take time to be created. ;) I'm glad to see it's not being rushed.It's looking great so far,Kitty. :CONGRAT:

the wb is finished guys!! wohooooooo!!! turns out skinning it in xp first then adding a substyle in sk6 is DEFFINATLEY the way to go.... so please pm me if you need the wb for your components on this suite...(ONLY PEOPLE WORKING ON THE SUITE WILL GET ACCESS BEFORE ITS RELEASED.)

Sorry kitty. In the last 65 hours I've slept 6 and taken 2 to myself the rest of the time I've been stuck working.

I'll be pretty busy over the next week as 4th of July week is one of our busiest of the year but I'll be sure to make time to work on it the beginning of the following week if I can't before that.
