Stupid Starbase ???

Are the benifits of starbases for that sector only or is it for your whole civilization?

It depends.

Resource Mining Bonuses are Civ Wide.
All others are sector wide except for Starbase Defense which only apply to the starbase.
Trade Bonuses apply if the trade route passes through the sector.

Civ Wide
- Mining Barracks
- Mining Headquarters
- Nano-Rig Excavation
- Extraction Center Zeta
- Hyper Mining
- Ultra Mining
- Resource Refinery
- Advanced Refinery

Starbase Only
- Basic Defense
- Deflector Shields
- Advanced Defense
- Advanced Shielding
- Barriers
- Avatar Killer
- Lightning Shield
- Overlord Killer
- Overlord Killer Mark II

Whoa, I didn't realize there were so many modules for resources. By the time I get the tech high enough, I'm usually at war with somebody (*coughDrengincough*), so I end up researching war-stuff.
