Start Panel stretched

Hello, I don't know if anybody can help me, but I was going through the programs on the start panel, all programs and I opened "rightclick skin editor" just to see what it is about , didn't change anything and closed it, when I went back to start panel, my start panel had stretched, proportionally I must add, to 3/4's of my desktop, I am using SliderXP at the moment and all software is up to date, is there something easy I can do to bring start panel back to size or is it a software problem my side.

I am currently using windowsxp, sp3

Thanks

p.s.

I have had numerous problems since sp3, wish I had never installed it

I.R do you mean by unload, uninstall and reinstall

Pick another Blind in WB apply it then change back to Slider should be back to normal.

I think I.R. means reboot, then right click on the icon in the system tray for WB and selct Unload Windowblinds. I would then recommend rebooting again, then load WB again and apply your desired skin and see if that fixes the problem. ;)

I tried that RickJP and the same happens, even if I go to windows default it is the same with stretched start panel

Reducing the number of items shown in your start panel will make it less high. But you may want all the items that you have?

thank for reply 2of3 but this stretch happened from one moment to the next, I have even cleared the list and still the same X-(

For something to try could go into Taskbar and Start Menu properties, Start Menu Customize and change to large icons, ok, apply then change back to small icons ok, apply to see if that resets it.

Plus...if you have recent program slots available...windows will use them even if you have cleared the list...making a big empty spot on the bottom. ;)
