What Demigod do you want to play the most?

AKA, let's kill some time with Speculations

Hi future Demigods!
So, you think you're up to the incoming challenge, and worthy of siting on the great throne in the skies? Well, you most likely are :).

The questions is, though, who will you be? Among the few Demigods that have been disclosed to us, which one are you the most interested in? I mean, of course, we'll play them all, and after we've started playing our tastes will most likely change. But based on the style, artworks, screenshots, and the little we know avbout them, which one would you want to play now, if you had to pick one?

My answer: without a doubt, Rook. I mean, a 10 meters high walking castle that smashes the enemy with a mighty hammer? This hero eats badass-pills for breakfast!  :HOT:
Of course, I'm aware it's not goiong to be the most subtle, but who cares about subtility when you can crush dinosaurs with your feet? :CONGRAT:

So, what about you? In other words, what's your fave one so far?

Probably an Assassin, I've spent way too long playing Supcom, It's time for a change of pace. As far as which assassin, I'd probably say either Unclean Beast or Regulus (assuming theyre assassins, Im pretty sure they are.

Assasin for me too, demigods hooked me because it said it was influenced by DotA, and I'm ready for a more balanced version of that.

Based on the few we know I think I'll play the rook. But I'm pretty sure I'll prefer another one once we know all of them and what they can do.

A general of some kind for me. We'll see once I actually play some.

The Torchbearer looks way too cool not to be played :D

The Rook, for me. He's suitably badass.

I'm not a big fan of microing large numbers of units, so I'll probably be learning towards the assassin side of things. Probably one of the more sneaky/subtle ones, although I suspect I'll try to play all of them at least a bit when I start out.

The Beast has me captivated. Reminds me of the huge wolf/beast thingy on Starwars II (arena battle).

I am playing the most underpowered so I can scream and rant how OP all the other stuff are!! Well we have to have one whiner don't we?

I'm starting to get more attached to the concept of Regulus, but we haven't seen anything of him other than concept art. I'll probably play both him and the fairy/bulbasaur.

Hmmmmm, I'm both a fan of RTS's and Dota. I guess I will have to get a feel for both, I love the micro of the general, but at the same time i wanna be the maxed out hero bringing the hurt on everyone else.... We will just have to see how each one plays out....

I'm edging more towards a charcter like Torch Bearer, but I can't ignore the shear power of a Demigod such as Rook, not to mention his abilities to regain health with the more structures you place on the map.

I'll most likely be an Assassin character, General isn't to appealing to me as of yet because there haven't really been any showings of a definate general; though it can be speculated that the fairy looking creature seen in the trailer is a general because it looks as though she is directing the army in front of her a few times.

Here is a listing of released characters (so far) and general info. on them; hope this helps the indecisive and those unaware of characters :

Torch Bearer (Assassin):
The Torch Bearer is an undead warlord that was burnt to death by his subjects. He "lives" as a charred skeleton clad in Viking armour and wields a staff of fire and ice. It appears that his primary form of attack is to cast fire and ice type spells (such as balls of fire and ice bolts).

Rook (Assassin):
The Rook is the soul of a king inside a walking castle. His most notable features are the three turrets on his shoulders and back. These turrets can hold different weaponry, which provide multiple forms of attack. The Rook's main weakness is his slow speed and large body. However, these are compensated for by his high attack strength and durability.

Unclean Beast (Assassin) :
The Unclean Beast is a large, monstrous demigod that appears to rely upon poison and disease related attacks. He appears to more of a melee-type assassin and the trailer suggests that he is very agile.

Regulus (Assassin) :
The Regulus is a Fallen Angel. He was once a servant of the Gods until his wings were cut off by a demon. With only the bloody stubs of his wings remaining, he now wields the weapons of the mortals. His harpoon-launching cross bow is one example of this.

And a speculative - The fairy looking creature (General?):
No info avaiable yet.

eh? where was the health regen mentioned?

Personally, I'd like to see a random option for the starting from scratch multi-player. A bonus/incentive for going random would be a nice addition.

What's nice is that they are all appealing so far. I'll probably try the Torch Bearer first but maybe I'll change my mind when I see some of the generals.

Fairy is mine. Back off.

She was already mine, stop trying to steal her!

Regains health from structures on the battlefield

I'm thinking either the Unclean Beast or the Rook. Regulus could be cool but he probably won't be as impressive looking since he is smaller.

Thanks :)

As cool as the Rook is, it is going to be very satisfying bringing him down.
