I'm still having the same problem

This is really bothering me because I spent a lot of money (almost $50 bucks)on this game, and I can't even get my turn button to move. This is a wonderful game and I saw statements about an add on pack that's free. But what good will that do me if I can't play the came. I appreciate the help you guys ofered, but nothing is working. The game installed just fine, and everything else seems to work fine, but it won't let me get past the first two or three moves. This is annoying - very annoying. I did everything you guys told me - but it still won't work and I'm starting to get be side my self concerning this particular aggrevation. Some one please help me figure this out!

Short of having you send me a series of screenshots or a video capture of your game, I'm limited as what I can do to help you.

Send me your prefs.ini file so that I can see what settings you're playing with and include a detailed walkthrough of what you're doing.

Carielf - please forgive me for being so ignorent and unknowledgable, I don't know what I'm looking at! How do I find this Pref.INI, and do you mean tell you what I'm doing when I play the game?

Are you trying to press the turn button while in any of the menu screens?

My turn button sticks unless both my main screens are completely the 2 galaxy maps.

I'm lucky if I have to press the turn button only a few times a game. You only have to press the turn button if all your ships are on autopilot and you've not clicked on anything else.

Cari wants you to email her the file pref.ini from your data folder. She also wants step by step what you are trying to do in game. It's standard computer support, I do it all day long for a living. Have you ever called a help desk at your place of work needing help with your computer and they ask you step by step what you are doing up to the point of the error or problem? This is what Cari wants. Describe your turn, exactly what you are doing. Include screen shots to show the error if you can. Etc.
