Recast is too fast?

After my four games I am wandering if Recast for using skills are not too fast?

I used to play Dota, and there Recast of some skills was so long that you have to use your skills wisely.

In Demigod when I was playing TorchBearer or The Rook you just pushing your skills all the time.

There is no such thing like tactics beacuse you just using your skills all the time :)

I think that it could be better to make recast slower...

good chance they were buying negative recast time items so they could spam skills? I always get the recast time reduction helmet first on TB

It depended on the hero in DotA, there were spammers and people who had strong auto attacks and longer cooldowns.

You say recast of some skills in DotA were longer (I've played, so I know what you're talking about), but you must remember that you're only seeing 3 of the demigods.  Maybe this will be different for others?  I hope so, to allow different play styles.  I wouldn't worry about mechanics like this when we can see so few of the abilities that will make the release.

Also, there certainly are tactics, at least early on, when you must conserve mana.  This would be a bigger deal if we had bigger maps to work with, since it doesn't take long to go back and heal, but its definitely a factor.

I will need to see more characters, more skills, and bigger maps before I am willing to agree with you here. The gameplay feels slow paced as it is, without skill spamming here in Beta 1 we'd be pretty damn bored.

Slow paced but I do wish the castle would upgrade slower. The units do a lot of the work so it gets boring.
