Demigod incompatible with Fraps

When Fraps is running and you minimize the game, attempting to maximize it will result in the grey screen of death, SupCom style.

How are you using fraps exactly? Just letting it tell you the current fps? Making a max/min/avg log? Making a recording? I've been using fraps with this game from the beginning, and I"m sure that I've tabbed in and out a few times without any trouble.

When I get tha grey screen I only get it for aboug 5 seconds then the game resumes
