I just grabbed the beta, and since there's no help (that I know of) I was curious if we do anything more than just control the Demigod? I can't seem to control the "small creatures" nor define what's summoned, unless I'm missing something on the UI.
Is there some sort of comprehensive overview of "how to play the game" for the beta?
Thanks!
these are assassin Demigods you don't get to control your minions you have to wait to get the Generals those are Demigods that control their minions
Ahhh - what's the ETA on allowing us to test "the other side"?
Unknown.
A link to some stuff to help you with learning the game: http://www.scarylogic.com/viewforum.php?f=4
As for when the next BETA phase comes about, this was posted back on the 10th:
You can also buy items from some of the buildings in the current beta, so it's not just telling your dude where to go.
YOU CAN PLAY THE OTHER SIDE. Im the menu click on one of the "Evils Demigod" and select OCCUPY. and that will make you play as evil.
Enjoy

WANT TO BUY A WORKING EDIT BUTTON.
And to play generals, most likely will be 1-A, all the data is there. Its just they need to do a little patch work, Models, skills, effects, items. ETC.
By "the other side", he meant generals *stabs Cooley for using retarded font size*
Isn't Rook a general?
nope. Mr. Rook is an Assassin.
If a giant 50 foot tall stone behemoth can be called an assassin.
Which it clearly can and is. He's one of the most effective.
Not really what you'd think of when somebody says "assassin" though. It's rather hard to hide when you're that big.
The definition of the word assassin definitely has changed in the Demigod world.
The word assassin doesn't necessarily involve hiding in the first place.
aye. that's Hollywood for you. subverting the meanings of words.
