How do you « teleport » ?

I'm somewhat ashamed to ask this question, since I've been playing for 2 weeks ... and since I haven't made any real effort to find out by myself.

I always make my demigod move by running back & forth, but I've noticed that other demigods sometimes seem to instantly disappear in front of my eyes (to go back in their "base"), or on the contrary, to instantly appear near the battlefront.

How do you do that ? Can you do that will all types of demigod ? (I almost always "play" the Regulus crossbowman.)

There are a couple items for this. Scroll of Teleporting from the consumables shop (use it, then select a friendly structure to teleport to), this is likely what you usually see. There's also a Scroll of Warping which is a short range teleport, but can go anywhere in that range.

OK, thxxx : I shall buy one of those scrolls. (I had invested in other types of items.)

But still ... I thought I had read somewhere that all demigods had the ability to instantly come back to their "bases" if urgently needed : I then believed you had to press a key. Does that instant-retreat function exist ?

I don't think it still exists.  I remember previews mentioning it, but now you have to actually buy an item and use that.

Thxxx ... That's what I thought. I seemed to recall having read a preview where it was mentioned. It might have been removed, as a basic ability not requiring a scroll.

Or you could just be a computer, they seem to teleport at the start of the game into a decent position. :grin: and no, what you describe isn't in the game now.

You're correct, Kyrein. You can immediately purchase a teleport scroll for very cheap. I had not noticed that before. :blush:   I don't spend it to go to the battlefront, at the very beginning. I use it to teleport back to the rear, when my health is too far down.

The second scroll of teleporting (2000 something gold) is NOT one use, but costs 900 mana per use. Id recommend that more then the one that takes you directly to target building *Which is one use*

The more expensive one doesn't let you go as far though.
