Unable to start a game

Solution: Just select your profile again

Hi.

I just wanted to start a game versus AI only. So I started Demigod as always (no problems), clicked on multiplayer, lan games and typed a gamename like "test" in the box. I clicked create but nothing happens. It´s just saying: trying to connect.

I´m a little confused, because everything worked fine all the time. But today, not able to create a game :annoyed:

I´ve changed nothing. I did not install anything new or deleted anything.

I tried to start the game only by its shortcut on the desktop. No chance. Then I started Impulse, applied the little update for new application pictures, started Demigod but still not working.

I restarted then, tried it again, still not working :'(

edit: I´ve tested now a few other things. Mass reboots etc. didn´t solve the problem. But it seems that there was a hicup in the "Profile" menu. I just selected again the profile I want to use (I´ve created only 1 profile) and now it works :) I did not reinstall the game, just selected again my default profile.

It´s just saying: trying to connect.

Have you created a profile? IIRC users with that issue either didn't, or found that making a second let it work.

Yes, it was a profile issue. I´ve only one profile so I selected it again and it works fine now :)
