Camera Perspective

At the moment in Beta 1A the camera is by default locked to your Demigod position, tracking & following the Demigod. By double-tapping the 'Space Bar' you toggle between this perspective and a freely point-zoomable camera.

Every time my Demigod dies my camera perspective reverts to the default locked position.

The default position should be the freely point-zoomable camera. This perspective is the friendliest, even disregarding familiarity with it bred by Beta 1.

Having to re-orient the camera every time I respawn is a pain.

just press "T" but yea its annoying when u gotta keep changing it

Agreed.  The automatic camera tracking is very annoying.  I know it can be turned off, it is just annoying to do so every time I die.

How do you know to press T?  Is there a list of hotkeys/shortcuts anywhere?

no i pressed random buttons on my keyboard during beta 1 also the button above enter is the same as T this button " \ "&" | "

Press mouse scroll to get rid of it, its no big deal for me since I use it to scroll around the battlefield anyway.
