Well I just downloaded the update and played my first game with the beast and DAMN is he beastly 
Here is a screen I took at the end of the game.. As you can see, still a few slots open for items but I was like 2 hitting the other demigods already so didn't bother..
wow, u got to lvl 23, thats a long game.
His dmg output can get kinda nuts
thats not much, Dmg Items and Atk speed Items make him shine, then his 400% more dmg is up around 1500-1675 tahts combined with his Atk Speed.
I usually go all dmg items (theres like 3 total that or good)
what I can remember:
-both gloves (2 items)
-dmg output of 55 (artifact) (1 item)
-speed scroll (gets him to ~14.6 speed when used) (1 side item)
-walk speed boots (1 item)
-life gain artifact (1 side Item)
-best artifact ingame (1 Item)
-lightning ring for atk speed (plus, a plague spewing, lighting atk is funny-wierd) (1 iem)
thats 6 items and 2 side items, last side slot can vary
on that level, let them push to where the giants get stuck and kill a tower, then end it...
cept u only got 5 main itetm slots
plus although that works, he is weaker early game, i like the nuke + ms builds, lay out unblockable 1800 dmg plus ooze dmg, and they cant run away
oops, the lightning ring was supposed to say (conditional) next to it. That ring was if your just messing around with AI, or nubs...
about your build, its effective, but I like doing something different, people just like to use the same builds that other people use (not really on purpose)
I like to try things out and find unconventional ways to whoop some ass.
(this is coming from a guy that goes mines only [no atk speed/slow/snipe shot untill late game] with regulus, as well as all three shoulder upgrades on RooK, with a hammer smash point put in there a few times...)
not to mention I also went Life steal on RooK in BETA 1...
Beast is clearly OP in relation to other Demigods. At mere level 10, you get close ( even better - between an opponent Demigod and his defenses ), activate frenzy ( each punch=~600 ), Spit ( 900 ), Grasp ( 600 ). Even a full-health Rook goes down in a hurry. Only save is a 2500 pot, and even that is likely to get interrupet by the Grasp, and if not, it just delays the inevitable.
I do the same thing with regulus, its good fun and noone expects it, plus the new items make it harder to go dps
I don't think unclean beast is as op as some people, the rook can still kill realy well, regulus is sneaky and hard to kill if your good and torch bearer is good as support. UB is overpowered in 1v1 fights, but in 2v2 or more he isnt as good
