I tried, but impulse always returns "Could not connect to servers, offline mode".

All other internet activitaions running fine, think it´s not my fault.

The new map is really cool and with the new game optiosn you can get some really epic battles

The option and 5v5 are amazing.  I love this.

Oh and the new gloves are off the hook, yo!!!

Is this available for people who pre-ordered in october, 11th was when i pre-ordered?

Beta 1C is available to those who entered during/before the initial Beta 1 release. Beta 2 will follow later, and those who have preordered in the intervening span will gain access at that time.

Yeah, dummy, except… they don't let me play it. I bought Sins in June. Loved it. So much so that I broke one of my fairly strictly kept rules and signed up for every mailing of Impulse and Stardock that I was asked to.

And then after that much trust I placed in them the only mention I heard of Demigod was when I was perusing the Impulse Store, and AND I had to find out from a friend about the beta!! A friend that "doesn't even like computer games anymore." Imagine my embarassment.

Apparently, Stardock is too busy sending me surveys and putting Political Machine icons in my games tab to send me a pre-order offer for Demigod.

I am not going to waste time reading every forum post on every one of their games to know when a game that I would gladly shell out the cash to pre-order has a closed-beta deal going when you pre-order.

Maybe there is some mystical secret to time-effective forum participation that I don't know about, but they seem to be for those that have too much time on their hands.

Hey guys let's end the flame war. 

Armagad, Stardock did send out an email to me that informed of the beta.  I'm sorry if you didn't get it, and I think in the future, Stardock should send out more info.  Personally, as a beta tester for Demigod, I am wondering why I haven't recieved an email about elemental and sincerely hope I get one when that beta opens.

Armaagad, also I am sure stardock apreciates you buying sins, clearly you thought it was a good game, right?  You preordered Demigod, right?  Well lots of people have pre-ordered and are waiting to get in, it sucks.  Trust me if you are psyched to lay an amazing game, it will be available for you with Beta 2.  For your information, Beta 2 should be available before the end of Nov.  That was the last we heard.  Then you and everyone else who has been waiting patiently can join up.  You will get acccess to generals at the same time we do.  If you think you are missing out on a fun game, you are half right.  The gae is beautiful and can be fun, but there are tons of balance issues and bugs that need squashing.  Hell, we have only seen assassins so far.  We are frustrated too, but it is a process.  Frankly, I am a little mad YOU will get generals on the same day I do.  And that I have to wait until the end of Nov, even thoguh the press can preview the generals now.  But we are trying to be patient.  Stay tuned here for the latest news and feel free to add your thoughts, we beta testers, stardock, and gpg want you thought and will want them even more with beta 2.  What we don't need is negativity.  It won't get you in faster and it bums people out.  Let's be civil and ralize we have to be patient.  As you can see from my beta rumor thread, I have problems with that too.  But we have a chance to really help make a great game, and in order to do that we need to be patient, positive, and offer reasonable constructive critism.  Let me be the first to welcome you, and let you know we look forward to seeing you on the board and in beta 2.  If we are on at the same time, I would be glad to be the first to team up with you and kick some ass.  Hell, I am sure we can even arrange a match with teseer, and "settle it in the arena".  Enjoy, and don't worry it will be here soon.
