One can only hope...

I'm sorry, that was mean.

I guess for those who are interested in signing up for the military might want to look into it.

CC is just a shitty store from the ground up.  They have horrific layouts, both in real estate usage and ease of use.  A case of style over substance, terrible customer service, average price and selection at best, and the operating costs are inflated by their idiotic use of space.

I'm surprised they lasted this long, the first time I walked into one it was obvious they were a doomed franchise just from the massive waste of floor space.

Whos next, Bestbuy?

Unlikely, since BB's success is part of the reason.

Circuit city was huge and while a bit overpriced they had people tha tknoew thier stuff.  As things got tighter CC fired their best resource, those experts, and hired the equivalent of seasonal help.  Fail.

BB knows how to market itself in certain territories

Future Watch (or wat have you) in Canada.  Its like the CC of Canada

Magnolia Hi Fi - Bought it out or something, can't remeber which, when Sound Advice decided to let them go and now SA is dying if not already dead

And I know they have another one too but can not think of it.  They know what certain markets needs and if they are a jack of all trades they tend to gobble up those specific niche items that sell well in their stores (like Magnolia Hi Fi for A/V High end stuff) and buy them out.  Now they are starting on a road for better market shares in the PC arena (to bad Alien Ware got bought out by Dell)
