I'm happy so far

Bit of feedback on Beta 2

So I got around to playing both the generals a couple of times, and played both the new maps.  The maps were quite astounding I might add, quite complex really.  Prison was rather entertaining, but was easily the longest match I've ever had, I think I broke the 2 hour length.

As for the Generals, quite well put together, I really enjoyed playing them, even though I lacked seeing any "RTS" from them.  They are basically just heroes with a bunch of pets really.  They need a bit more summonable pets for it to be RTS like.  However, I like them perfectly fine, the pets make it rather interesting.

What was interesting, is I liked the concept of Oak much more, a heavy melee warrior with pets.  But I found both Generals equally enjoyable to play.  Even with my 2 hour match, I enjoyed 95% of it! The other 95% is being annoyed by the other Demigods.

I havn't gotten around to Regulus yet, but he was most deffinetely more annoying then any other Demigod (Besides perma-invincible Oak).  Hes extremely tough, ranged, and can chase you down like no tomarrow, then snipe you if need!  Very annoying -_-.

I love the Citidel Upgrade idea, I just wish you didnt upgrade them all the way so fast, money comes in way too fast for normal.  I usually have all my stuff needed, 2 items from store, 3 from artifact within 30-40 minutes.  Fast for my matches anyways.  Keep up the Citidel work.  Maybe add the Forts as a buyable option, instead of just being there.

I think you could use a lot more items, a few much more expensive items.  Maybe add some sets like in DOTA? Even though they WERE annoying.

Thats pretty much what I go so far, great job with beta 2! I'm eager to see more.

I think that's perfect - 2 hour long games are stupid.  30-45 minutes should be the taget game length as far as I'm concerned.

I think games should last between 15 minutes to an hour depending on how evenly matched the teams are.

Well for me with Ai takes half an hour to finish a game. The game's balancing is like the first SupCom where everything is slow and takes a long time to do anything not like in FA where everything is alot faster. Also there was a problem with the 5v5 map with full players on. When you go a attack their citidal their demigod tends to stand next to the healing well and heal while attacking. This causes a problem, its like feeding them and they dont ever die.

How about allowing the healing crystal to be attacked (but not destructable) and if it is damaged then it reduces the healing/recharge rate by 75% for 10 seconds.

This way the defender does get a bonus during a last stand on their own turf but with all the enemy AOE going off they will only get a small bonus and prevent a prolonged but inevitable end.

They should just put the Healing Crystals in the back, like where the Item shop is in the 5v5.  Not only that, but they should allow it to be damaged like Bortling said.

Excellent game.  It is really coming along nicely.  I'm liking it.  Sure, it has alot of balancing and polishing that needs done.  But, the game runs flawlessly on my rig with max graphics.  It has fun and compelling gameplay.

I can only imagine how much better it will get.

I think target time should be about 15 minutes if a person is really outclassed to about an hour for 2 evenly matched opponents.

Hey all,

We're definitely pulling over-time to get the stale-mate problem rectified. Thank you all for your feedback!

I'm also enjoying this beta more then most.  Also, might I add I usually hate these kinds of posts because it just makes me feel like they are pointlessly sucking up to get devs attentions.  But I've been in a countless amount of betas that always say "We appreciate the feedback and listen to it!", yet all the time you'll see a 500 post thread of everyone saying something should be changed, and nothing ever happens.  And here, you can actually see that they are actually listening, its quite amazing and a huge step in gaming industry imo.

From Beta 1 to Beta 2 was a HUGE jump, and I can't wait to see how well the game does in the coming months.
