Problem installing SoaSE

from Stardock Forums

When I try to install the game through Impulse, it says "Preparing download" but after a few minutes it says "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

What does this mean, and how do I fix it so I can play the game I paid for?

The Stardock root database server had a hardware crash on Christmas eve. The DB admins are working on restoring it but some services will be affected including customer database updating, software updating and downloading and other services.  We do not currently have an ETA to solve due to limited personnel being available on Christmas eve / Christmas day but it should be rectified within the next 48 hours.

Are they planning on actually sending out this "coupon"?  I purchased this game on Christmas day and had to wait a day to play it.  I didn't get any coupon e-mailed to PM'd to me.
