Game Mode

Since GPG overheard my request(or thought it up themselfves) to add Capture the Flag. Post here your suggestions for game modes.

Mine:

Graveyard.

Back in your base is a Graveyard flag. The game plays out like a normal one, but once you cap the enemy graveyard-flag you can no longer spawn until you get it back... or you cap theirs.

More to come later.

So if one side has the enemy flag and kills their demigods, it's game over? Sounds harsh.

Well I posted a mode's suggestions here a while ago but it got rejected cause people thoght one mode is enough.>_> :typo:
Anyway Now that were all more open minded I'll post the one's I think can work:

King of the hill- can definitely work in demigod and be quite fun.

Chain linked capture- like onslught in ut2004 and other game, more of a team mode than others.

Cart controll- theres a cart in the middle of the map and the target is to get it to your base by standing near it.

I like your idea, just it seems that it will be very difficult to get the flag back.

Oh did I said how happy I am for giving us more game modes, totally going to raise the life-time of the title

I like the idea of Demigod King of the Hill, but am not sure how to implement it, because Demigod is based around two teams with armies of grunts, and we haven't seen any variations on that yet.

So, for example, what would your grunts be attacking? Would the people who were not King be able to attack each other? How about attacking each other's grunts? If it's about capturing the flag in the middle, how would you decide who was to be the new King in the event of multiple captors?

No Citadel, instead only a graveyard flag.

End of Nights's quote

I can think of two solutions:

1. no creeps- xp is gained by controling the point and killing other demigods.

2. creeps still attack the citidel- but instead of winning the game if you destroy it, you get point which connect to the points you get from controlling the point, the citidel is restored and invincible for a while and maybe even the enemy demigods.

What do you think?
