[Gameplay] Flag Locking

Just wanted to say that this was a major issue in Beta 1 and it looks like flag locks are well priced and timed in current version.  Thanks Devs

I'd maybe up duration 10 or 15 seconds though, what do you guys think?

Flags outside of bases should lock for double the time. It's not that rewarding when you spend 350 gold to lock a gold flag for 30 seconds. You wont even get your 350 back.
Mayb locked flags give better rewards. Like a locked xp flag gives 10% more xp and so on.

Nah I think its fina as it is because flag locking should be like a last resort thing. If u can't stop them from getting to it, lock it.

As I've proposed in the previous flag-lock thread, I'd prefer flag locks to disable a flag for their duration in addition to locking them (and have a slightly longer duration unless that proves unbalanced), while being able to be used on all flags, own, neutral and enemy.

That would allow Locks to be used in a variety of situations - scorched earth flag loss delays, hit and run raids, etc.

Locks serve a purpose that would be partially broken with a shutdown mechanism, but it could work as a seperate item.

The Flag Bag: 350 gold, short channel, disrupts flag effects for 1 minute.  I could see this having the most benefit with portals.

The locks I can see working very well in the Flag Cap game mode.

I do agree that 30 seconds for 350 gold is a bit steep though. Do like the idea of the item though :D

Always keep a lock handy myself.

Use it when I want to guarantee that Artifact shop will be under my control no matter how furious the fight is.

Use it when a group is trying to take a neutral portal back and I'm not sure of my ability to hold them all off.

Rarely, but I use it on an enemy's base portal that I've taken.  A full wave of my creeps appearing right next to the enemy citadel is more of an insult than anything but it does encourage a base attack if the rush was sorta half-hearted.
