[suggestion] Beacons

Will there be beacons in the game like SC? Its quite useful in multiplayer since reglus can snipe targets from afar plus alerting him to or your teamates.

Do you mean pings?  They have pings in the game currently.  Press "P" to ping.  Unfortunately pining only works on the person pinging's computer, not the team mates.  This will hopefully be fixed soon.

Nah not pings, beacons as in alerting your teamates on the map, a signaling or guiding device. SupCom has it as red, yellow, and blue. I think its F1 or starting at F5 as attack, move, and assist.

I think a flag that would give you a huge area of no fog of war would be cool.

the attack, assist, and move things are pings.

 

[EDIT:] come to think about it, attack, assist, and move pings would be really useful here. maybe the assist should be re-christened to defend as it had a double meaning in SupCom.
