Flawed Sandbox mode

The sandbox mode in demigod is quite flawed, especially when the opposing citadel are destroyed and large numbers of troops would amass in the area,it unbalances the game and lagged my machine.

what i suggest is after the citadel is destroyed, the game should remove all the troops and send back enemy demigods back to their place, so the losing team still has a fair advantage. after the demigods are back in their place, the troops should resume spawning..

any more suggestion?

There is no win or lose in sandbox, it is just for experimenting and getting a feel for things.  Hence "sandbox", you just play around however you feel like it.

I think the sandbox should be more. Maybe a deathmatch scenario and trying to get to a certain number of kills. Once the citadels get destroyed there should be a timer that ends and triggers invulnerability for a couple seconds to all within the citadel's area. Then by some magnificent performance the citadel rises out of the ground( with spectacular visuals). Players then have to buy back towers to be built again for their defenses.  Its just an idea, it is vague and could go into a lot of detail.

yep. under game options as host you can check "Sandbox" and play a never-ending game, Soccer :omg:

I don't want to read about police breaking down the door and finding your dehydrated corpse perched in front of the sandbox mode, tho, k?

The thing is, there is going to be a kill count mode in future versions.  The whole point of sandbox mode is you just play around with no ultimate goal.  If you start adding a goal it ceases to be sandbox mode.

Sandbox mode only exists in the betas. There won't be a sandbox mode in the final game. It's mainly there just to mess with.

Aww, but what about the modders?  Sandbox was good for testing.  Not that I use mods much, but I like that they exist.

No, please leave sandbox in Frogboy! It's great for testing items and it is very useful in SupCom.
