Different units entering the battle??

Just a quick question, but randomly during a battle the nice ladie announcers voice tells me the giants or something have joined the battle but I never see any different troops fighting for my team, only ever minotaur like things. Is this a feature yet to be implemented or am I missing something?

yes, you are missing something, probably a huge bug, minotaurs are just the base creeps, there are also priests, archers, lizard-catapults thingy, giants and angels.

Maybe you have messed up the match configuration ? (or it really is a bug)
Anyway a new build is coming today, it will maybe solve your problem

Dude in beta 1 the units were on auto spawn however in beta 2 when you hear this you can purchase them with the cathedral unit upgrade.

In 2a you will not only need gold but a war rank to get them this is not a bug but a great new feature of the game.

It's still a bug either way. Either the units are supposed to spawn and the citadel upgrades only increase the amount of that particular minion (as the tooltip of the upgrade states), or the sound cue is misplaced. For example, "Giants have entered the Battle!" is player one War Rank before you can buy the Giant Citadel Upgrade.
