Hi, im new to the website, i was woundering if i went to gamestop and preorderd the game, would i get the beta key ? thanks.
No, you only get into the beta if you order online here at stardock website.
Well thats a bit retarded , do you have to pay the full amount, or just 5 bucks like i ushualy would in game stop thats more fair....
Yes, you pay the full price of the game, get beta access, then you get the full game at release. The beta is for actual testing and is not a demo, so if that's what you're after (given the "$5 is more fair" comment), I'd strongly advise skipping it.
We will most likely have a free demo at some point after release if you'd like to try it out without making a commitment.
