Pantheon / AI or Noobs ? (serious question)

I've been playing Pantheon a couple of times and every single time i was the top player.

Does the matchmaking fill slots with AI if there are not enough players ? (Some names were suspicious in that regard).

Or did we simply get a horde of new players with the newest Beta ?

Seriously wondering since the people i played with didn t seem very talkative either.

It also shows Ping = 0 for all players, even when they have names that reveal that it can not be an AI (i.e. with numbers and birthdays tacked on).

 

I wouldn't consider myself very good at Demigod really and in the latest Betas i certainly lost more games than i won.... but playing Pantheon... it has so far been a total cakewalk every single time. For example, what i noticed is that people(or AI?) in Pantheon games usually aren't killing nearly enough minions to level and focus instead on charging after you.... and even follow you happily into towers/defense to die. Then you got more levels than them.... then you kill them easier.... then you get tons of money and once you buy your first artefact it just gets silly...  or at least i would say that three times as many kills as all other players on both teams combined is kinda silly :p LOL

 

Anyone else notice ? Just wondering what's going on...  i would have guessed AI with the Ping = 0 and the boneheaded things you see them do... but then in my last game i didn t have a single person with a name that "could" have been an AI.

Yah, I have the exact same question.  I've been pwning my Pantheon games, and I'm beginning to wonder about the other players being AI as well.

You are probably playing against AI.  I really wish the game would make it clear when you are fighting against the AI.  When I played a Pantheon game it put me against all AI.

I also noticed that last night.  I also noticed that when i looked up my standing this morning it said that i LOST the match?

The rankings don't work.  According to the website I am on a 30+ game losing streak.

Ah yeah noticed that too. Won all my Pantheon games (ingame) but the rankings say i lost all and list a total playtime of 0 minutes.

 

But it's not just the rankings (which wouldn t be an issue) but the Pantheon in general.

Are there people who can actually play Pantheon games with other people yet ? Or is the whole mechanic/matchmaking simply not done yet and requires another patch ?

You'll get real people in your Pantheon games sometimes.  It trys to find other players and if it can't then you get AI.

They are AI, even if the usernames sounds like real person with birthdays tacked on, it's still AI.  If you see ping as 0, then it's an AI. 

I would avoid pantheon games for now since they are still working on it.

I have the same problem, everytime i lpayed Panthon i finish the game with 15-20 kills and 0-2 death... need players not a noob IA

 

Or maybe am a real god ;)
