Curious, I've been playing custom games recently with pretty skilled players, and I get a couple kills, but keep dying.
I'm wondering, what is everyone's input on strategy? What works for them, how do you play, and how is your favorite way of getting the final blow on an enemy DG, and live? (any character, mind you. I play the Torch Bearer, flame-side)
teleportation and health potions are a big part. Adapt to your enemy. I mean if you battling Rook u want to be fast, when facing reg u want to be able to tele out because Regulus doesn't get a chance at stunning to late game. Dodn't be careless and dodn't wait to long to retrea but yet again dodn't be a coward.
yea, grab a teleport stone aka warpstone but that cost you around 2400 which you won't have so start saving up.
my first three items are usually the greater purple potion(yes it has a name, no i dont know it off the top of my head) and a teleport scroll. dont chase Demigods, its just not worth it unless you know you can get the kill and out with no damage. if there is a demigod alone away from the creeps, dont chase him, kill the creeps and push the tower. you are not invinsible, so dont try to take down towers at level 2, however dont be afraid to fight off a creep wave and a demigod then teleport to your base, heal, buy items, teleport back. its not cowardly.. its playing tactically
Gotta try some of that in the Pantheon or a custom game then.
Aside from those, anything else anyone else likes later in the games? This isn't just advice for helping me out, it's general info on player's strategies, to help out others!
