Mana lack? who?

Once again, what's the balance in Demigod when a single 1500 gold item can solve mana lack problems in almost all Demigods.

In example: Rook is supposed to be a completely melee/tank based hero and I play him almost as a mage with turret + boulder + turret + slam + turret. Only hero in DOTA that could do that was Tiny, and you had to spent all your money in mana items.

Pelor Crown doesn't give me unlimited mana, I usually have to grab it and the 1750 mana regen hat to keep myself topped off. 2 out of 5 slots devoted to mana is quite a chunk when you look at it.

Very true.  You give up other benefits to maximize your mana.

I did not have to pay for Crown (worth 6.5k) to have no mana lacks on Rook...just a cheap Vladens Faceplate gives you +1500mana +20 mana reg can make me stay in my line forever spamming withouth mana issues early until lategame.

I don't want mana to be infinite plus uber regenerated...just enough to stay in my line as much as possible. Maybe with Erebus Mist or other mages there do are issues, but with non-mage heroes one single item makes you a mage.

All Father's Ring fixes a lot of problems though if you are able to afford it chances are the game is going in your favor any way :)

I kind of like the mana lack, and it's rather balanced. We can't have everyone always having mana, then people would be spamming too much stun, etc! Stun, whack, run away, stun, whack, run away...

We need people lacking mana to give other players a -chance-. We don't want this turning into a WoW wannabe, now. "I has mana, i keel u"

I do mean that...non-mage heroes shouldn't be able to spam their spells that easily.

My hero for today was Unclean Beast, and early Faceplate allowed me to combo Poison Spit + Stun + Plagued Claws + Poison Spit Spit withouth serious mana issues whenever I wanted. I ended up with 45 kills in 40 minutes.

staff of the battle mage is a nice favor item that gives a lot of mana and +30 dmg... that solves my early game mana problems and gives me a nice boost late game, and the +30dmg is always welcome
