Spending Favor Points

Since favor points are useless once you reach 1000+ points(because you can buy all the favor items), what if there are new ways of spending them.

i think favor items shouldnt be buffed because that would equal Grind>Skill.

So, what if there were new ways of spending the favor points?

One idea i had was: Favor points could be spent on different skins of Demigods. This way favor points do something when players have 1000+. This purchase is purely aesthetic and provides no game advantage whatsoever but is still interesting.

 

so what do you guys think of this spenind points idea, the skin idea or any idea you might have?

i dodn't no about skins, but differnt builds, or other demigods would be a possibilty. hwen I say builds i mean like Rooks attack does more damage but he has less health. Or Rooks hammer slam beast but his boulder roll stuns for half the time.

You cannot buy all favor items for 1k favor, you get 4 of the most expensive ones tops!

im actually pretty sure that the most expensive favor item in the game is "Heavens Wrath" which costs exactly 1000 favor

Reviving the old "achievements/favor points let you purchase aesthetic upgrades to your Citadel" idea would be nice.

Once favor points work as intended, however, this may not be necessary.

Damien, and what about after you bought your Heavens Wrath, you dont think you EVER gonna use any of the other favor items? Yes you will, and then you are back at 0 and need to collect more favor.

 

The favor system is supposed to store your bought items, so that you buy the 1k item, and are then able to use it in each game after, not as now that you only buy one favor item and that one you use. The point of the whole system is to keep gaining favor so you can spend it on a collection of items you may need someday.

 

As such you may want to start off by saving 1k for the heavens wrath item, but then you may think that heavens wrath sucks in games where you face regulus, the warp favor item would be great in those games. So you collect another 340 favor and add that item to your collection, so now whenever you face a regulus, you can select to use that item.

Yeah I hope they add some cooler and more unique favor items as well :)

 

In a old screenshot it actually looked like you were able to buy potions with favor. Anyway seeing the favor system isnt working as it should, and actually just started working at all with beta3A, I think we can see alot of changes/improvements there in a near future.
