Your must have items?

Hi :)

So, everyone is speaking about "must have" items. But which items do you purchase nearly everytime?

I´m trying to go often for this items (in this order):

1. Mage Slayer
    Costs: 8000
    +30 Weapon Damage
    +20% Attack Speed
    +15% Life Steal

40% chance on hit to stun target for 0.2 seconds.

5. Wyrmskin Handguards
    Costs: 1500
    +15 Weapon Damage

20% chance on hit to eviscerate the target dealing 100 damage and reducing their Attack Speed and Movement Speed 25%

2. Nature´s Reckoning
    Costs: 1500
    +600 Mana

15% chance on hit to strike nearby enemies with lightning for 250 damage

3. Journeyman Treads
    Costs: 6750
    +400 Health
    +15% Movement Speed

5% chance on being hit to increase Movement Speed by 50% for 10 seconds

4. Warpstone (depends of the character I´m playing and if this is an assasin or general)
    Costs: 2500
    30yd range
    0.5 sec casting time
    30 sec cooldown

Use: Warp to a nearby location

Favor Item while playing as a general (like Erebus):

    Cloak of Night
   Costs: 380
   Instant casting time
   20yd range
   30 sec. cooldown

Use: Warp to targeted location, dealing 200 damage upon entry.

   +280 Mana
   +4 Mana Per Second

thats actually my build too especially with unclean beast, however very late game i tend to sell Wyrmskin and get the 10k chestpiece.... i wish i could see the face of the player controlling Torchbearer when i warp next to him with UB and then start whacking at him with my mageslayer.... actually hilarious

Well, usually I end up buying weakish/medium items, then eventually selling them for better ones.  Wyrmskin gloves are good, and I often get the Plenor Battlecrown or whatever the relatively cheap but really useful crown/helmet is called.  Early on I get a Totem of Revelation for the extra LoS, and I must have my teleport scrolls :).

Vlamar's o Vlamir's Faceplate is a must buy for me...+1100 mana +16 mana/sec (in Beta 3A). Solves most mana problems on Assassins.

you named nothing but late game items...you must die a lot

I always keep my inventory with atleast 2 minor healing and mana and teleport scrolls

always go for 10% move speed boots first, then usually mana regen aura helm, then mana cost reduction helm.

then maybe health regen depending on class.  warpstone is mid game item, with stone of health or whatever it called.

Plenor Battlecrown, even post-nerf is an item I tend to pop on the characters with a lower mana.

im just wondering.. coz i havent actually read it anywhere (plus i dont have the game). are items "1 use per item"?

So what would you say is the best starting items? Persay, the best items to hold you together while you get gold for more, better items?

some items are one time use like teleport scroll and flag lock but most arn't

I always do on Assassins, not Generals. Early game they give you the edge to kill an enemy or scape from him.

That would be interesting while using the beast! Run in nice and close, then grab him for some life and and damage+stun.

That's mostly the way to kill anyone in any situation...damage spell->melee 'til 1/3 of his life->stun->damage spell if ready.

Replace stun with teleport, maim, shield, blink strike or something similar depending on hero.

Only items which are in the "Consumables" tab of the store have charges. Mostly potions with some utility items like universal gadgets and slow scrolls.

In this order:

+10% ms boots and +15% ms favor item at the start, 2 of [plentor, wyrmskin, nature's reckoning] (hero dependant), scalemail, mage slayer, ashkandor.  If the game isn't over by then save for the all father's ring.

TPs as necessary, no potions ever.

Actually, if you can manage it getting both hearts is quite viable. Pop the healing one, then the defense and you regen even if you're in the midst of an epic battle.  Costly, though.  I usually only get the healing one.

Since I usually play QoT and TB, I usually start with;

Favor Item: usually the 10% speed increase or the 10% cooldown reduction

Scaled Helm -> Uprades To -> Vlemish Faceguard  -> Uprades To ->Hungarling's Crown

*Add in a Plenor Battlecrown if I still have mana problems, but sell it once i get a Heart of Life

Boots of Speed -> Uprades To -> Journeyman Treads

*Add in an Assassin's Footguards if I take to much damage

Nimoth Chest Armor

Heart of Life

Cloak of Elfinkind or Cloak of Flames

And of course, the prerequisite teleport scrolls.
