Lore

I was reading the lore in the mythology section and I have to say it was quite interesting. I read all 3 available and then one of my friends mentioned the lore of demigods that had none yet (in the same myths section). Apparently all the lore is on the wiki, so why not post them all on the official site?

The lore in the wiki is different. For the ones not released yet, it is "old", ie not what will be the official line.

still, he has a point, the release is approching fast, all the lore should be on the website.

By the way, i am the only french-speaking person that has doubts on the traduction?? i  find that taille-tour or tout-père sounds really lame. i hope gpg/Stadock will not release the game with pityfull translations, the lore is pretty cool and original, it would be sad to waste it.

I really like the lore to those 3 Demigods they've put on the website. Can't wait to read the others.

The lore for all the demigods on the wiki seem fine as is. For some reason I find Sedna an extremely boring and forgetable character though.

Probbaly because her story (no offence to the makers) isn't unique. She has a healing power and loves animals, can't get much more bland then that. All the other demi-gods have something unique about them. (QoT is an evil faerie, rook is a giant man corpse, erebus is a vampire with a blood suit.) Still unclean beast could use a different lore.

I was unimpressed with Regulus actually.. seemed- meh... and by meh- I mean- it seemed to lack actual story- unlike Rook and Torchbearer...

Torchbearer was interesting but it didn't make sense that he just decided to kill everyone... I mean it looks like he was evil anyway so he deserved what he got. :hrmph:

I thought it made perfect sense.

Happy go-lucky magic-boy is suddenly exposed to heretofore-unseen phsychological suffering (what with every soul that he had loved being being burnt alive before his very eyes, not to mention his own subsequent cremation), which naturally results in his mind breaking beyond any hope of repair. Divine spark allows magical boy to return to (un)life as a charred corpse.

Now, if you've watched many horror films, the following equation should make sense to you, and will explain the Torchbearer's resulting actions in their entirety...

Insane + Undead = GRUESOME, INEXPLICABLE, MASS MURDER!! x_x

My favorites were the Rook and Oak. I suppose I will play with these first as they are my top choices from the lore. :D
