Demigod metacritic review score guess thread

Lets guess what metacritic review score Demigod will get? For a reference, here are some metacritic scores of past stardock/gpg games.

Sins of a Solar Empire 88
Supreme Commander 86

Stardock says "No full-priced stardock game has ever gotten a metascore less than 85"

I think Demigod will get an 86 average metacritic.

My vote is for 86 as well, but then again we don't have the full version.  I would give it an 82 based on what we have today.  With singleplayer, a slightly improved level of connectivity, better balance, and the new maps, I see the metascore at 86, but then again you never know.

Pretty high score for Sins and Supcom. 86 sounds about right :)

~80

If significant improvements are made for the release version somewhere around 85 won't surprise me though.

I'll say 89. I liked Sins but Demigod has a wider appeal I think. Depends on the single player features really.

PC Games: Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment (2009) 86

PC Games: Sins of a Solar Empire (2008) 88

Other GPG games:

PC Games: Dungeon Siege II: Broken World (2006) 62

PC Games: Dungeon Siege (2002) 86

PC Games: Dungeon Siege II (2005) 80

I won't say what my prediction is so I don't jinx it. I know that both Stardock and GPG are pretty happy with how the game has turned out.

For those of you who love math and numbers:

Stardock AVG: 88.6

GPG AVG: 75.4

Personally I see this falling right where Supreme commander did, but again we haven't seen the full product.

Right in between the Stardock avg. and the GPG avg: 80ish.  Bingo!

Technically, right between them would be 83.

Also, it is important to realize that publishers can have a huge influence on quality.  Stardock's commitment to quality by pushing the game back 2 months would not likely have been seen by the publishers of the low scoring games from GPG.  Publishers can force developers to push out incomplete projects, as I am sure we all know.  GPG appears to really average around 80 with a few outliers.

i'm going to guess 90. boils down to how much people like single player.

dawn of war 2 got 85 and the demigod BETA is better than dawn of war 2. (cries)

Guess which game has more popular support and financial backing? (yes, unfortunately that matters when it comes to reviews)

I think 90 is way too optimistic.

I'm gonna go for an 89.
