Best gear for Lord Erebus?

Mana, mana and Mana.

Start the game with the cheap mana hat +5 mana per sec and the cheap health chest, after that go with the +15 mana per sec helmet and then the +1500 mana and +70% mana regen. after that its probably a ring of Narmoth for the health regen.

Erebus is really unkillable as long as you got mana to batswarm out of a dangerous situation, or bite to heal yourself, so you can actually afford to focus mana and not go so heavy on hp items.

I prefer to play as a Battle Erebus.

I usually go with a Bite/Minions tree build.  I'll take bats after poisoned blood.  Then a shot of Mass charm.  I RARELY use mist and then only if someone is heavily throwing negative mods on me.

For a favor item, the Anklet is probably my favorite, though I do enjoy the cloak of night. 

I usually double up with the two low level armors at the start.  It gives you enough fight to actually stay on the battlefield for quite a while. 

Depending on money, I'll pick up a scroll of TP or 2 to prevent the further walks back to the store, A helmet (Plenor Battle Crown or the next one down if I can't afford it.)  At this point, I'm usually just attacking troops and capturing flags to raise levels.   I'll pick up Wyrm Gloves then the expensive team armor, usually selling the previous 2.  Sorta go with what you need at the time.  I generally don't buy idols.

I dunno if you guys have seen the day 0 patch change log yet, but all this is about to change alot. Many of his abilitys are changing(just costs and the like), as well as his minions doing more damage and him getting more powerful or something i Htink.

Where is this log?  I'd love to look it over.

Typically I've been going out to fight naked (avoid head ons with other demigods) and take mist form.  As soon as I have enough I go and pick up the mana hat that gives you +70% regen.

Hum I'll need to try out picking up a cheaper one prior. 

I then will try to pick up the armor that adds both life to you and your minions.  I'l also eventually end up picking up something that has armor as it seems like you need it to live.

So far, I really like starting off with the 800+ health favor item (and 5 health regen).
