Favour Points -- how does it work?

Okay from the beta, it seemed like the more I played the more Favour points I gained (which could then be spent on favour items).

I then played a Pantheon game and lost.  When I went back to playing against the computer I believe I had negative favour .  Is that a bug?  Is that how it's suppose to work?  Is that how it's going to work on the retail copy?

I don't have the game but I'm just speculating:

Maybe there are two sets of Favour points...online and offline or ranked and unranked.  Not sure what they are called or considered.  Was that favor that you had won originally online but just against AI or offline against AI?

Hope that helps

If you are seeing negative favor it's a bug.  Sometimes your favor will reset (another bug) but you will still be left with the base favor of 150 points, which at least allows you to get a few of the available items (swift anklet is the best cheap favor item imo)

In Beta you could only play online, single player was not availiable.

The orgional favour was won via computer stomps.  I then played a skirmish (can't recall if I had won that or not).  Then played a Pantheon game (and lost).

Anyway just wondering how it's suppose to work as I'm still not sure.

-How much to you gain for each battle?

-Does it matter if it's AI or live opponnets?

-Can you lose favor?  If you can, when/how?

Etc, etc...

You will lose favor points if you buy a favor item for the first time.

You migth get negatif or reseted favor point if u play pantheon and that is a bug.

Well i dont think you cannot lose favor points, when you win or lose the match you will see the stat window popping up. From there you can see that if you win you get like 50 points more from winning and if you lose you wont get that 50 point. Other points come from mini achivement for the match, like inesting certain amount of gold into your citadel, killing streak, etcs.

At present Favor Points are still stored on the computer, not server side. Negative scores can be reset, heck you can still give yourself as many Favor Points as you want if you know where the file is to edit. These points carry over to Online Pantheon.

End of quote

In the manual it states the following.

You win favor points for the following actions :

Dying the least number of times

Spending the most gold on Citadel upgrades

Killing the most Demigods

Killing the most enemy units

Doing the most total damage

Capturing the most flags

Assisting  the most in killing other Demigods

I'm sure there are other things too......
