Gamestop just gave me Demigod over the counter

So I preordered Demigod, my local gamestop store called me yesterday to tell me I could be it up today (Friday April 10).  I went and picked it up.  When I put my PC Demigod Code Sticker into STEAM it says that it's invalid. Will my code become valid on Tuesday?

 

Please help, I'm worried I'm  doing something incorrectly!

I'm sorry if this offends you, but I litterally choked on the water I was drinking when I read "put my PC Demigod Code Sticker into STEAM"

Alright, with that over, I'll actually help you.

Demigod is not a Steam game, it is being published by Stardock. Download Impulse (www.impulsedriven.com). But I highly doubt it will let you activate anyways since the release date isn't until the 14th.
