Demigod Newbie looking for Guidance

Well, as the title of the post suggests I have just very recently started looking at the game. I've been looking for a good game to start playing and since the game is coming out in under 4 days, I thought I would look at this game more closely.

Well anyways, I thought I would ask a couple of questions. First of all, I'm a hardcore gamer. When I play a game, I really need to get into it. In particular, I'm an RTS/MMORPG gamer, so do you think this game would be well suitable for me? Second, Is the community for this game large and active? Third, well, what do you think about the game? Is it great? Lastly, what are some key features to the game that make it great, and what are the main parts of the game in general.

You mention MMO's and that worries me a bit, as no game out there can really compare to the sheer amount of depth those games can supply (or the amount of content).

You mention RTS games, and while Demigod does have some RTS elements, imo it's very light on the RTS and more on the Diablo side with a mix of Tower Defence.

That said I found myself really enjoying this game more than my other latest purchase DoW2 (which has too much micro for my tastes).

PS: After 3 days of playing the tail end of the beta I pre-ordered copies for both me and my wife and I can't wait till release.  I'm addicted and want to play more.
