Recently bourght Demigod, didn't recieve CD-Key

Hey, recently today I went onto the Impulse program and purchased my Digital Download of Demigod, $55(AUD). Since then I have not recieved any CD-Key's or anything to do with it, it's not even listed under the tab "My Games" on Impulse. However when I download Fences (Free) off Impulse i was emailed the CD-Key straight away. Is this because I preordered it and its not out yet? If so would there be anyway that I could download Demigod now so when it reaches the 14th of April I can play it straight away?

All I know is, I pre ordered digital copy way back when the beta testing started. As of now I see now I see no "pre-release" download. All I have in impulse is my demigod beta version.

You'll be able to download on the 13th if you preordered it from Stardock, supposedly. It may be the 14th, still up in the air about that. And no, you can not download ahead of time. I was upset about that too, it's a bit unusual for digital download on a game release, but I've been told Impulse uses a very good infrastructure.

Unless you are using dial-up, you should have the game installed and good to go within an hour, two at most.

whoah an hour? thats short, how bigs the game? i thourght it was 8 gig ( i live in australia and i've got th fastest internet, 1500-2000 ). What about my cd key problem? when will i get that

The cd key will be emailed to you. The game is probably 8 gigs uncompressed, I'm told the download itself is 3 gigs though.

If you log in to Impulse with the email you purchased with the serial will be applied and you will be able to download.

The main issue is that your not going to get your key till the release date, b/c stardock hasn't charged you for the game (and will not untill the game is released).

 

So , from what I understand. When you bought the game, you are asked to put in an email address, make sure that the email address you used when you bought the game is the same address you use to signin to Impulse.

 

Then on the 13th or 14th you will have access to Demigod to d/l and play.

Correct, your order will be completed and you will recieve your serial/download access on Monday/Tuesday.

 Going to save myself making a seperate topic and save your support guys an email, if you can answer this question:

I purchased two copies of the collector's edition, one for myself and one for a friend who I constantly game with, especially in team based games (We tore up poor souls in both HOSK and DotA, so he's interested in seeing how good people will get in this game with time) .

I used the same email for both and sent them both to my address. If I register on Impulse with that email, will it the auto-populate screw anything up? I'm worried it may lock up the serial so I can not hand it to him to use after I hand him the download.

You can move an CD key to another account. If you're friend creates an account he can add one of the accounts now associated with you're account. First remove it from youre's then send it to him.
