Another Pantheon Question :(

Since I'm having a hard time finding detailed info about it besides the more or less cut and dry basic details...

I have another question about Pantheon :(

 

So thinking multiplayer would not work being as the true date has not arrived... I just on whim picked Light side and Regulus, well after getting a few games and what not against I think mostly AI (although did play with a real person once).

So I wasn't aware that you can't change sides, with that being true, you then also can't choose the 4 opp. side Demigods...

So as I have now found a favorite Demigod I use in SP... I can't really play with him in Pantheon, I'm assuming?

If all this is true... Am I stuck?

Does it ever let you rechoose a side? I sorta assume after each tourney resets you will be able too, at least I hope.

And I noticed a new one starts on the 14th, I think?

Anyhoo... Since I don't really have any detailed info, and I actually have looked on how this exactly works, any help would be great.

Since I would like to play my new favorite guy on Darkness instead of the Regulus who I at first was enamored with... My stupid ADD, I tend to have a short interest span, which is why I always rotate different factions/characters/etc in alot of games I play.

Edit... Oh and I wanted to point out maybe a small bug.

Sometimes upon switching guys before a game in the selection screen Demigod(both SP and MP), even though the picture will change upon click, sometimes it will start you out with whatever Demigod you previously had chosen since sometimes I think it defaults you to the guy you last played. This also happens when you click the information button thingy on the selection screen it will show the info for the original guy you had selected not new currently selected or what you think is currently selected. It doesn't happen everytime but I have noticed it a few times. Had a few games where I picked the Rook but it started with me with Regulus since I had used it before.

Not a huge deal but just mentioning it :)

I'm just guessing now, as I don't know the mechanic. But as the pantheon is about gathering a set amount of points - then it will end at some point. And presumably you can take a new side when a new pantheon starts.

But yeah, this is all speculation from my part, and as I don't have the game (yet), I can't say whether or not I'm also stuck with a side or not D:

Each time the pantheon restarts you will be able to pick what side you play on, this is to prevent people to just switch to whatever side is winning as the metagame gets close to ending.

It would be nice if there was a warning dialog when you picked a side, to remind people that they can't ever switch.  Maybe something to do in a later patch.

I can't agree with this more....

 

I accidently picked the wrong side without really knowing what i was doing the first time i selected Pantheon to check it out.

Ya... Maybe someone lingo savy could make a Pantheon FAQ or detailed info thread? I've looked all over and can't find much info besides a few basic details.
