i'm assuming now the stardock team a fully coffee'd up and bursting with energy i can feel a sea of emails being sent momentarily ^^

I am with internode and i have ADSL 2+, i usually download about 1 megabyte a sec but i'm not running the internet at high speed. I'm not right next to the exchange so I don't actually get 24megabits, the fastest I have got was 18.

As proof, i'll set my profile up to high speed and post a link to a speed test, it will take an hour for the profile to switch over but.

i have an idea, everyone just post up what speed connection they have and how long it takes to download, and post it up before you leave the forum for seval days to sink ya teeth in.  i'll post mine, when i've dl'd it.

*edit* my current guestimate is about 15/20 mins on a 10mbit line

*edit* having found the correct size, 2.8gig might take about 20/30 mins to dl

oh 1mbps is same as me, 1000kb = 1mb. But yea same mines running at half speed cos i have dodgy line.

Hopefully Stardock won't suffer a 'Valve' and have all the servers crash/overload for the first 72 hours of release, meaning you either have to wait three days for it to settle or leave you computer downloading at 7kbps the whole time.

pre orders get the download today , they brought pre orders 1 day forward, as a kind of middleground or compromise for some peoples ill feelings towards the early release by gamestop.

*edit* according to kryo yesterday, could be between 9am and midday EDT, so half way through that, may take longer, but halfway through initial expectations at least

Damnit, the "My games" tab on impulse just disappeared, how do i get the proper one back?

I made a new one named My Games, but does the application know to actually add the game to that tab once i get it, since it's a custom tab?

I mean, i saw a guy who just recieved it on Impulse, but hadn't recieved the mail yet...

he probably got it from gamestop, they gave out their keys yesterday? or day before

Kryo also said on another thread, that the link should automatically appear onimpulse the moment the money clears from your bank.

Having said that, i'm still checking my emails too, would hate to do something drastic and lose an hour or 2 of demigod for not checking ^^, i have a few days extra from the long weekend.  want to use them

Is there some sort of all applications list on impulse? Containing software not added to any particular list?

Since i ordered and registered by the same mail, it should automatically be added to the games list, right?
But since the game's list doesnt exist anymore, where does it go?

Can you goto Manage tabs?  its when you press the '+' button... can you unhide the my games tab?

Or have you actually deleted it?

*edit* if that doesn't work, you could try re-registering the products that dont show on the list anymore, with the register product button.

You will need the CD keys of the items you want back on the list, if you dont have them you can get them from the automatic email service from stardock.

I have tried reinstalling impulse, still gone. The custom ones i made are still there too, what files to i need to delete to reset it?
