Are you sure you are not referring to the profile name? For single player you create a profile name and it can be whatever and is not linked to the Impulse accout, that is only for multiplayer. When you select mulitplayer you will be prompted to sign in with your impusle accout.

Update, my problem:

I have changed the impulse nickname -> result:

- The forum name is changed.

- The loginname is changed.

But the ingame name is not changed. <- how can i change this?

No I changed my Impulse Username, just checked it ^^ But as I said I have to use my new Username to log into impulse and demigod multiplayer, but my ingame name remains the old one. Dunno if this is intended but I don't think so.
