Multi-screen issue

When using more than one monitor, Demigod allows the mouse to leave the game

I have more than one montior and an extended desktop. When playing Demigod, if I move the mouse to the left, it goes into the other monitor. If I click when outside of the game, it minimizes. I have tried playing at a few resolutions with the same issue. None of my other games do this and this will make it very difficult to play Demigod.

Ideas anyone?

Use windowed mode and maximize it to the screen, that should allow you to switch programs without minimizing the game.

kryo, the problem is that in other games, cursor is locked in your primary screen(when the game is in fullscreen mode). so you can scroll by moving cursor to the side of screen(and cursor will stay only on primary screen). but in Demigod, when you move cursor to the left side of screen, it will go out of primary screen and move to secondary screen. when you click on something in secondary screen, the game in primary screen will minimalize. its pretty annoying while playing. its bug and i hope that it will be fixed soon.

What about playing in a Window? Does that lock the mouse like other games as well?

I am asking for two reasons. One reason is because I'd like other people to find this thread and see the answers. The second is because the game doesn't allow me to go into Windowed mode.

You could also turn off edge tracking and use WASD for camera movement. I am playing across 3 screens at 3840x1024 and this is what I have to do.

I had the same problem...so what i did was....

Select Options, 3rd tab is video settings. select the resolution setting (drop down tab) there is a Windowed setting at the top of the drop down. Now the game will snap to a preset resolution much smaller than your monitor.... now to adjust it further just drag the edges of the game window and make it as big or small as you like......

You can now click anywhere on either monitor without it minimizing...just like other gaems...

Tada !

Oh cool! I see what you mean. It automatically resizes all the images and everything. Wow neat! Still, there is no way to lock the mouse. If I could hit Scroll Lock to lock the mouse and unlock it, this would be the ideal way to play the game so I could still use FFox or chat while playing. Awesome feature still.

Saturn2888, there is nice tool for multiscreen support - ultramon

http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/

you can lock cursor in primary screen. so, in case that you run game in window, your cursor wont move out of primary screen.

also it has more nice features - like adding taskbar for secondary screen - it will display all windows running on secondary screen etc etc.

but i would like to know if someone knows if there is any way how to release cursor from primary screen(in case that you are running game in fullscreen mode) and manage secondary screen(without minimalizing fullscreen application in primary window).

I use Ultramon. How do I lock my cursor with it?

Either way, I was just using the arrow keys or WSAD. I actually prefer to play the game this way so I have access to my second monitor and can chat w/o having the game go through problems. Thanks Gas Powered Games for doing this.
