We keep having same problem again and again, and this has not been fixed.

 

The update recoginization problem. See, I just finished downloading Demigod from Impulse and it seems the version is 1.00.0091, which is outdated.

 

But Impulse keeps failing at receive updated info for the game.

 

 

We had same problem, again and again, with Entrenchment betas and Demigod betas... and each time the IRC was full of complainments. Now even with the release date we have same serious problem.

 

I believe it is due to overloaded Impulse server. I may understand this, but we had same problem again and again in past, and you guys should prepare for this.

 

If you complain about Steam being monopoly...... you guys need to put some serious imvestments enough first.

Cool you're making rage threads and saying "Impulse sux lolo".

The version you have is correct. It is not the release date, wait for tomorrow when the real servers will be up and then come to forums and QQ.

1.00.0091 is the version I have and I believe I'm up to date. I understand your frustrated, but maybe you should wait until tomorrow to get worked up about flaws in the system. The game was never intended to be released until tomorrow anyway. I have little previous experience with Impulse games (I own Sins of a Solar Empire and Gal Civ II, but I only ever used Impulse to apply patches) and I've never participated in any of the betas. Maybe you know something I don't, but I'd say just chill out until tomorrow or maybe try again later tonight. I don't want to start any arguments. I'm just sayin...

Wow guys, currently 1.00.045 it the updated version.

 

You guys have not realized because server fails to response to individual info request.

 

And astrarth, that's completely irrevelent, I am talking about a problem that repeatedly occured.

No, the latest download is .0091

.045 is the probably 0 day patch which will come soon enough. I have no idea where you heard that number though. But anything else than .0091 being the latest version is utter BS. Especially considering i downloaded the game a short time ago, and when you download, it is always the latest version no matter what.

What is displayed in Impulse is not the same thing that Demigod displays in game.

We realize it's confusing but it's an issue of internal build numbers versus the release build numbers. It's the same on every other title on Impulse.

91 is the latest.

I was experiencing the same problem.  I just restarted after the update downloaded the first time.  After re-boot no problems.
